As promised in the special edition of The Bungle, bookings are now open for Family Camp 2023.
Camp will take place from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th May at Dilston Scout Campsite near Hexham.
Costs will be:
- Adults, youth members of scouting and siblings 6 and over – £45
- Siblings under 6 – £10
- Infants who aren’t going to be eating any of our delicious food – Free!
That price covers camping fees, all your food and drink for 2 days and activities on site Friday night through to Sunday lunch time. This year we will be taking card payments in person for camp. We will do this during Cubs and Beavers on Monday/Thursday evenings at the same time we complete DBS checks.
All adults staying overnight will need to have a DBS check completed by us unless they already have one through scouting.
Here are some key dates:
- 6th March – Bookings open
- Bookings close Sunday 23rd April
- Final deadline for DBS checks Friday 12th May
- Camp begins at 8pm Friday 26th May

- We will get in contact to let you know if you need a new DBS
- Once your DBS is in place we will let you know how to pay
