Here is the Easter edition of the Bungle. Things move so fast that there are a couple of things to update you on since this was all written.
St George’s Day
There is some information in The Bungle about this annual event, but we now have official confirmation from District on the final plans for St George’s Day parade.
Date: Sunday 23rd April
Time: Meet at 1pm, done by the time the nationwide emergency alert goes off on everyone’s phone at 3pm
Where: We will meet on the verge by the Aldi roundabout in Catterick Garrison. You should be able to park at Tesco for up to 3 hours. We’ll then parade up to the Garrison Memorial Church. Parents are welcome to follow the parade up to the church and join in the service. We’ll parade back down to the roundabout and dismiss the parade from there.
Uniform: School shoes and trousers/skirt along with uniform sweatshirt/shirt and necker. If the forecast is rain we’ll be wearing waterproofs. If the forecast is dry we won’t be wearing coats, so add layers underneath uniform.
Family Camp
The booking deadline is April 23rd. Based on the current level of signups it’s touch and go whether we have enough people to make it viable. Please book sooner rather than later. Once we know for certain we can proceed we’ll be in touch with those who have booked already to organise payment and DBS checks for those who need them.
