The Patron Saint of Scouting is St. George. Scouts remind themselves of their Promise and Scout Law, renew our promises and make a special point of all coming together on St Georges Day.
We hope that all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers will be able to parade with other Scout Groups in the district for a short service at St Marys Church, Richmond. There’ll be no dragons, so don’t worry.
Meet: The Town Hall, Market Place, Richmond at 2.15 ready to parade at 2.30pm.
Please wear smart uniform: School trousers/skirt, school shoes, top and necker.
For info: The route will cross the market place to the Castle, down the hill to the car park by the ice cream parlour and from there along the Batts and up to the church.
Pick up at the Batts at 4 pm.
Parents welcome to join the service if you so wish.
