1st Barton Scout Group has been knocking around the very northerly reaches of North Yorkshire since 1977.
We’re currently packed to the rafters with children in every section from Beavers, right through Cubs, Scouts and our partnered Explorer unit. We run a full and balanced programme giving the children a chance to participate in activities that they may not come across in their every day life alongside useful skills that they definitely will need in their every day life.
The group is staffed and run by a group of volunteer leaders and helpers who put in a great deal of effort behind the scenes (and in front) to ensure that the programme we run is of the highest quality possible. They also have quite a bit of fun themselves.
