Our programme for the remainder of this term is as follows:
Monday 27th February – Target Sports
Monday 6th March – First Aid
Monday 13th March – Fitness
Monday 20th March – Night Hike (Circular route from Barton)
Monday 27th March – Easter Egg Hunt (At the Melsonby Field)
Uniform is required each week we are at the hall, this includes a Necker. We seem to have an increasing number turning up each week without a Necker and while we understand that they can sometimes go walkabouts we do expect your cub to turn up in full uniform where possible. Once they move up to Scouts and are expected to be responsible for their own belongings the leaders are less lenient so now is the time to practice turning up with it each week! If you need to buy a replacement then let us know.
Save the Date- Cubs Summer Camp 2023
We have exciting plans for our summer camp this year so make sure you save the date!
When? – Evening of Friday 30th June until Lunchtime on Sunday 2nd July
Where? – Moor House Adventure Centre, Houghton Le Spring.
Cost? – £50 per Cub
What’s included? – 2 nights of camping, food and a weekend packed with exciting activities, including a high ropes course, Archery and the Cave Bus.
Bookings will open mid-march so look out for further information heading your way then.
